Testing 14 server regions
How It WorksWe measure the round-trip time to each server region. Testing uses AWS infrastructure for accurate results.Your ping may vary based on network conditions.
For high-accuracy results, we recommend performing checks during peak hours.

Since Delta Force is a PvP tactical FPS, it is quite obvious that your ping plays a very important role. If you want your shots to register then you cannot afford to have high latency. Otherwise, you will find yourself getting eliminated constantly. 60ms or below is recommended.
Firstly, if you want to have stable gameplay, free from packet loss and high ping, then you have to have a wired connection. Use the in-game server selector to pick the server that is closest to you. Constantly monitor your ping by enabling in-game telemetry.
To troubleshoot connectivity issues: 1) Start by giving your router a quick restart. 2) By using the tool given on this page check if your ping is high on every server or not. If it is, then your connection might be facing issues. 3) Close VPNs and disable your Firewall temporarily.
If you are looking to play competitively, you should aim for under 60ms. Pro players typically play at under 30ms. Just make sure that your ping doesn't go above 120ms as it will negatively impact gameplay.
Delta Force operates at 60Hz. Higher tick rates lead to more responsive hit registration. Your actions and how quickly they are registered in-game are determined by your ping and tick rate combined.
Use our Ping Test tool to figure out your latency with all the regions, and pick the one with the lowest.
Pick a wired Ethernet connection if you can, as WiFi tend to bring a lot of connection issues. Fiber connections are better than the traditional ones. Close applications that are hogging all your bandwidth. If you are going to use a WiFi router, just make sure you have QoS enabled on it. Trying Cloudflare or Google DNS can help in a lot of cases.
